The Taconic Crest Trail is a 37-mile long trail that roughly follows the borders of Massachusetts, New York, and Vermont along the Tactonic Mountain Range. The hike’s highest elevation is Berlin Mountain at 2818′, and the elevation gain for the entire hike is around 8200′. Some highlights are the views from Berlin Mountain, a chasm that contains snow year-round called Snow Hole, and Berry Pond, Massachusetts’s highest body of water.
